There will soon be a new leader of the Coffeyville Community College athletic department.

 

Jeff Leiker informed CCC trustees of his intention to retire at the end of the school year, which was accepted by the trustees. Leiker has served as the Athletic Director since November of 2007.

 

Leiker will be succeeded by Bryce Saia, who was hired after last school year as Director of Special Projects and Athletic Fundraising, and has also coached with Leiker on the football staff two decades ago.

 

The Red Ravens have achieved great success in Leiker's regime, winning national championships in volleyball and men's basketball, as well as having many athletes competing at the national and Olympic levels.

 

Leiker will continue to serve as AD until the end of the 2023-24 school year.
