Sharon Frey, 77, of Coffeyville passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Medicalodge of Coffeyville on Midland.
She was born on September 30, 1946, in rural Welch, Oklahoma to Floyd and Jean (McCoy) Shere. Sharon grew up in Craig County, Oklahoma where she attended grade school and graduated from Labette County High School in Altamont, Kansas.
Sharon married Dan Wolf and they had two sons, Erik and Edward. The couple later divorced.
Sharon later married Benjamin Forest “Frosty” Frey. Following their marriage the couple made their home in Coffeyville.
For several years Sharon was a waitress at Baily’s Café in Coffeyville, she later worked in the kitchen at the Senior Citizens meal site until going to work at Braum’s in Coffeyville.
Sharon attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church 14th and Elm for several years. She enjoyed collecting frogs, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Frosty of the home; two sons, Erik Wolf and Edward Wolf; one step-daughter Lisa Pollett; one brother David Shere; one sister Daisy Wilson and four grandchildren, Andrew Wolf, Ethan Wolf, Emily Wolf, and Landun Wolf.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Veterans Patio in Fairview Cemetery. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
