Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas expands its Addiction Treatment Services to its Columbus clinic.

CHC/SEK Licensed Addiction Counselor Holly Engelbrecht will provide care and support to patients with substance use disorder from 8:00am to 7:00pm on Tuesdays and 8:00am to 5:00pm on Thursdays and Fridays. Services Engelbrecht offers include substance abuse assessments, individual outpatient counseling and outpatient group counseling.  Engelbrecht, who in July celebrates 35 years of sobriety, says she can relate to her patients because she has an inside understanding of what it is like to be held hostage by a disease

Additionally, CHC/SEK Peer Support Specialist Melba Marsh offers recovery peer support services on the first and third Fridays of each month from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
